21st CENTURY MEETS THE 14th CENTURY AT CORONADO HISTORIC SITE

March 18th, 2024

Students from Albuquerque’s 21st Century Academy toured Coronado Historic Site on March 14, 2024 enjoying he beauty of the location and visiting Kuaua Pueblo which was built by the Tiwa People more than 700 years ago. They ground corn, learned about traditional gardening methods, and toured the painted kiva.

Come Visit! Our first Dawn to Dusk event is on May 5, 2024 and features Wildlife Rescue Inc. of New Mexico with hawks, falcons and other raptors. You can visit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Monday (closed Tuesday). The first Sunday of the month May through October is free to New Mexico residents with a state ID.
